1. What is the actual use of the sofa?
Is it for sitting or will it be placed in a room that is not used often? What is the sofa’s intended use? Will it be used for sitting in front of the TV or in a guest room (living room)? Or do you plan to use it as a multi-purpose sofa for offices or the like?
Also, what is the size of the room the sofa will be placed in? Will space be a constraint? The answers to these questions will determine the appropriate size of the sofa, whether it’s large or medium, as well as the durability and strength of its materials, depending on the nature of its use.
2. What is the size of the sofa?
The American sofas from The Factory range in length from 180 to 240 cm, give or take a little. This variation allows you to customize the size to fit any space.
3. What materials are the sofas made of?
Sofa materials are a key consideration when purchasing a sofa. Leather sofas are more practical and easy to clean, but they are more suitable for businesses than homes. They also lack the attractive appearance of fabric-covered sofas, which come in a variety of shapes, designs, and colors.
Essentially, make sure to choose fabrics that are durable and long-lasting. Of course, you won’t be able to touch the product if you view it online, but you can certainly tell the type of fabric the sofa is made from by looking at the specifications.
4. Which is better: a sofa with two or more pieces?
Many American sofa models come in the traditional form of a long sofa (3 seats), a short sofa (2 seats), and single chairs. However, some sofas are L-shaped and fit into corners, and are called corner sofas. This type comes in two designs:
First: The corner sides are two sofas – one triple that seats 3 people, and the other double, or two double sofas – that join together with the smaller corner piece or corner stone.

Second: The two sides of the corner are separate chairs that join together to form the two sofas at a right angle. This feature gives you more flexibility to shape the sofa however you like. You can arrange them together, as pictured, or as separate chairs, depending on your taste or to fill large spaces.

5. How do I choose the right sofa color for my home?
When choosing a sofa color, you must ensure color contrast. This means there should be a clear color difference between the sofa you choose and the surrounding colors (walls, curtains, floors, etc.). The contrast should be in favor of highlighting the sofa, as it will be the most prominent object in the room.
At The Factory Furniture, we ‘ve been keen to satisfy all tastes by offering a variety of colors for each model. Following the same principle of color contrast, we’ve diversified the colors of sofa accessories, from chairs to cushions, to give your sofa a distinctive presence among your home furnishings.
